PKU Alaska thanks you for your kind donation. The money we raise goes directly towards research and resources for those with PKU. Our hope is that in the future, we will be able to provide local resources and events for those with PKU up here in Alaska.

In addition to the goals we have for our local community, we will continuously be contributing to the NPKUA (National PKU Alliance) which funds national resources for individuals and their families who have PKU. They also help fund the research done to learn more about this extremely rare, life long condition. The research that has already done is a huge step in the right direction. In the upcoming years, we are hoping that there will be medications widely available that will help control “Phe” levels and help those with PKU live a more “normal” life with a “normal” diet.
